Multi-Vendor Marketplace & E-Commerce Platform
RetailCore was running an aging WooCommerce site with 8+ second load times, a poor checkout experience, and no way to manage the 200+ vendors on their platform. Cart abandonment was at 78% and they were losing sales to faster competitors daily.
We built a fully custom Next.js e-commerce marketplace from the ground up. The platform included a multi-vendor portal, real-time inventory sync, Stripe Connect for vendor payouts, advanced product search, and a streamlined 3-step checkout. All deployed on AWS with a CDN layer for sub-1.5s load times globally.
Discovery & Audit
Audited the existing WooCommerce site, identified conversion bottlenecks, mapped vendor workflows, and defined technical requirements.
UI/UX Design
Designed a new visual identity for the platform, wireframed all user flows (buyer and vendor), and built an interactive Figma prototype before coding began.
Development
Built the Next.js frontend and Node.js backend API in parallel over 8 weeks, with weekly demos and testing against real vendor scenarios.
